Tax Credits
NRTC Tax Credits
New Jersey’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program allows eligible businesses to redirect their New Jersey state tax liability toward approved community revitalization projects and receive a tax credit of up to 100% of their contribution in return.
Instead of taxes disappearing into the general budget, NRTC lets companies decide exactly where their investment goes and see the results firsthand. PARTNER NJ has maintained an approved NRTC plan since 2024, making Gateway Neighborhood investments immediately eligible.
Community Reinvestment
CRA Community Development Opportunities
For banks and financial institutions seeking to meet Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) obligations, investment in PARTNER NJ’s Gateway Neighborhood programs qualifies as community development activity. The Gateway Neighborhood is a designated low-to-moderate income area, and all of PARTNER NJ’s programs directly serve low- and moderate-income individuals and families.
Partnership
Corporate Sponsorship
Corporate sponsors are visible, valued partners in the Gateway Neighborhood Collaborative. Sponsorship is one of the most direct ways for a business to demonstrate its commitment to the Perth Amboy community, build goodwill with residents and local officials, and align its brand with meaningful social impact.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, from event-specific contributions to year-round partnership agreements, and can be customized to meet your organization’s specific goals and budget.
Philanthropy
Grant Funding and Foundation Investment
PARTNER NJ welcomes grant funding from foundations, philanthropic organizations, and government agencies whose priorities align with our work in the Gateway Neighborhood. Our programs address a broad range of foundation funding priorities, and we are committed to thorough outcome reporting and funder communication.
Our Partners
Gateway Neighborhood Collaborative Partners
PARTNER NJ is grateful to the businesses, financial institutions, foundations, and community partners whose investment makes the Gateway Neighborhood Collaborative possible. Their support is building a stronger Perth Amboy — one family, one home, and one opportunity at a time.
