Strategic Plan
Perth Amboy Gateway Neighborhood Plan
The Gateway Neighborhood Plan is a ten-year, community-driven roadmap for revitalizing Perth Amboy’s Gateway Neighborhood. Developed in 2021 by PARTNER, the Gateway Neighborhood Collaborative, and New Jersey Community Capital, the Plan outlines long-term strategies to strengthen affordable housing, economic development, neighborhood improvements, and resident support services.
The Plan provides a framework for place-based investment in a low- and moderate-income community, aligning public, private, and nonprofit resources to achieve measurable neighborhood outcomes. It also supports continued participation in New Jersey’s Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program, helping attract investment and implement community-identified priorities.
