Eligibility

Who May Qualify

Home Harmony is available to homeowners who:

  • Own and live in their home in Perth Amboy’s Gateway Neighborhood
  • Meet low-income eligibility guidelines
  • Have repair needs that affect safety, accessibility, or housing stability

Final eligibility and project approval are determined through the intake and home assessment process.

Why This Work Matters

Many homes in the Gateway Neighborhood are older and need repairs that homeowners simply cannot afford. Without support, deferred maintenance can lead to unsafe living conditions, reduced home values, and long-term housing instability. Home Harmony helps residents remain in place with dignity while preserving housing stock that is vital to the neighborhood’s long-term health.

For funders and corporate partners, this program represents a place-based housing investment with measurable impact in a low- and moderate-income community, aligned with CRA community development priorities and broader social impact goals.
