Volunteer

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are the backbone of our community events and programs. Whether you can offer a few hours or an ongoing commitment, your time and skills are genuinely needed and deeply valued.

Community Events and Programs

Help us run community events including the Housing Expo, Mesa del Barrio monthly dinners, job fairs, arts and cultural celebrations, and more. Volunteers help with setup, registration, guest support, and cleanup.

Ideal for: Individuals, groups, corporate volunteer days, and students completing service hours.

Home Repair and Beautification

Join a Brush With Kindness home repair day and help restore a Gateway Neighborhood homeowner’s home. Tasks may include painting, light landscaping, weatherization prep, and cleanup. No experience necessary, just a willingness to work alongside neighbors.

Ideal for: Individuals, families, faith communities, and corporate teams.

Mentorship and Workshop Support

Share your professional skills by supporting homebuyer education workshops, financial literacy sessions, or workforce development programs. Professionals in real estate, banking, finance, legal services, and HR are especially welcome.

Senior Engagement and Intergenerational Programs
